What is JAB design Melamine
*Melamine is a synthetic thermo-setting resin based on wood pulp. The resin is heated and formed under pressure and left in the mould for about two minutes. On removal the waste, an essential part of the process, to ensure a perfect product by overfilling the mould, is filed off .Then each piece is hand polished which gives it a clean shiny finish. It is then returned to the mould with a special process which gives it the high lustre look of porcelain.
 All melamine is not created equally. Some manufacturers use injection moulding which requires a lesser grade of melamine that often shows flow and other marks. Automatic pelletising saves time and money but does not permit uniform hardening. JAB design melamine is superior to Urea/Melamine mix in terms of hardness, chemical resistance and durability and is non toxic. Our melamine passes the standards set by both the US Food & Drug Administration and Gulf  States, which set rigid standards for melamine products. Gulf States will not allow any melamine into member states which contains Urea.

 Characteristics * Slow heat transfer – food stays warmer longer.* Suitable for dishwashers and resistant to breaking chipping or cracking
* Not Suitable for microwaves or ovens-Melting Point 110 degrees Celsius. * Lightweight compared with ceramics. * Available in many colours and with your logo. * Colour fading is not a problem since pigments are tested for stability using a Fade Meter. If no fading occurs after being radiated for 48 hours by mercury lamp then the pigment is used. This corresponds to about 1250 hours of sunlight at noon in midsummer.If the pulp quality is not good this leads to discoloration in sunlight. Our factory uses very high quality alpha cellulose pulp to ensure there is no discoloration.

How to take care of JAB design Australia, melamine products
JAB design melamine is heat resistant to 110°C. It should not be allowed to contact direct flame and sharp materials. It is dishwasher safe – do not use abrasive cleaners or knives with serrated, saw like blades.  Wash in domestic detergant.		 JAB design Polycarbonate
